Opus Cart Upsell Cart Drawer vs Rebuy Personalization Enginefor Shopify (2026)
Opus Cart Upsell Cart Drawer and Rebuy Personalization Engine both aim to increase AOV for Shopify merchants through upsells and cross-sells, but they approach this goal with different strategies. Opus focuses on simpler, rule-based upselling and cart customization with features like progress bars, free gifts, and urgency timers, making it a more approachable solution for merchants who want straightforward cart enhancements without complex AI. Rebuy, on the other hand, positions itself as a comprehensive personalization engine, leveraging AI to power product recommendations and optimize the entire customer journey, from search to post-purchase experiences. This holistic approach makes Rebuy appealing to larger or more sophisticated stores seeking data-driven optimization beyond just the cart page. Rebuy also offers A/B testing and advanced flows which Opus lacks, catering to merchants wanting to test different strategies and build dynamic customer experiences. These additional features are likely to come at a premium to Opus, with Rebuy offering more options on the pricing scale as a result of the additional functionality.
