Our Verdict
For merchants who value transparency, reducing customer inquiries, and managing expectations, Order Deadline 2 is the better choice. It offers granular control over delivery date calculations and placement within the customer journey. The 30% off deal and 30-day trial sweetens the deal.
However, if maximizing immediate sales through aggressive urgency tactics is the priority, and you are confident in your product and target audience's reaction, Scarcity+ Cart Countdown Timer is more suitable. The ability to empty carts adds a powerful incentive, though it risks frustrating some customers. The dropshipping integration also makes Scarcity+ preferable for those businesses.
