Order Management — Trackeasy vs TW ‑ Notify team on Slackfor Shopify (2026)
Order Management — Trackeasy and TW ‑ Notify team on Slack are both Shopify apps aiming to improve operational efficiency, but they approach this goal from entirely different angles. Trackeasy focuses on comprehensive order lifecycle management, providing visibility into order preparation, packing, and delivery. It aims to eliminate manual communication and paper-based processes by tracking order status across multiple devices and locations. Trackeasy is geared towards businesses with physical order fulfillment workflows, such as restaurants, warehouses, or delivery services. Conversely, TW ‑ Notify team on Slack seems focused primarily on delivering notifications to teams via Slack. The key difference lies in their scope. Trackeasy offers end-to-end order tracking and management, while TW ‑ Notify team on Slack (based on the provided data) concentrates on team communication triggered by events. Trackeasy's multi-user, multi-location capabilities, along with features like product-wise preparation reports and new order alarms, suggest a more robust solution for larger or more complex operations. In contrast, the lack of information about TW ‑ Notify team on Slack, including its features and intended use cases, makes it difficult to assess its value proposition relative to Trackeasy.

Our Verdict
For merchants struggling with order fulfillment accuracy, manual communication, and lack of visibility into their order pipeline, Order Management — Trackeasy appears to be a more suitable choice. Its feature set is directly aimed at solving these problems, and the positive reviews (though limited in number) support its effectiveness. Trackeasy is particularly well-suited for businesses with physical operations like restaurants, warehouses, or delivery services.
Without more information on the functionality of TW ‑ Notify team on Slack, it is difficult to make a recommendation. Based on the limited information, it appears to address a very specific need: notifying teams via Slack. If a merchant's primary pain point is slow internal communication around order events, and they heavily rely on Slack, then this app *might* be useful, but this is speculative. Given the lack of reviews and specific details, it’s hard to assess its reliability or value compared to Trackeasy.
