Our Verdict
For merchants facing a high volume of returns and prioritizing a seamless, branded return experience, Order Returns | easyReturns is the better choice. Its automation features and customizable portal can significantly streamline operations and improve customer satisfaction. However, for merchants primarily concerned about shipping-related issues like lost or damaged packages and looking to increase revenue through protection plans, Sam Shipping Protection Upsell offers a more targeted solution. It allows them to offer a valuable service, build customer trust, and retain control over the entire process, ultimately boosting profitability. A business could benefit from *both* apps, addressing different areas of post-purchase needs.

Does Order Returns | easyReturns handle lost or damaged packages?
Order Returns | easyReturns primarily focuses on simplifying the *return* process itself. While it streamlines the process of returning an item, it doesn't inherently *prevent* loss or damage.
