Our Verdict
For merchants primarily concerned with enhancing customer satisfaction and minimizing customer support interactions related to order changes, Orderify ‑ Order Edit Cancel is the more suitable choice. Its self-service features empower customers and streamline the order adjustment process. On the other hand, businesses grappling with intricate fulfillment needs, such as managing orders with items from various suppliers, shipping from multiple warehouses, or dealing with oversized items, would benefit significantly from SplitOrder's automated order splitting capabilities. Ultimately, the selection hinges on the merchant's most pressing pain points: customer service burden versus fulfillment complexity.
Common Questions
Which app offers more control over the refund process?
Orderify offers auto-refund, which is compatible with all Payment Gateways on Shopify. SplitOrder does not specify refund features, so Orderify provides better automation for refunds.

Which app better supports third-party fulfillment services?

If I need to split orders based on product color, which app should I use?
SplitOrder allows you to split orders by any product attribute (e.g. embroidered, personalized), so if you have product color as an attribute, SplitOrder would allow you to use it. Orderify does not offer an explicit order splitting feature at all.
