OrderShippingProtect vs SureBright Product Protectionfor Shopify (2026)
OrderShippingProtect and SureBright Product Protection both aim to help Shopify merchants offer shipping insurance, but they approach this goal very differently. OrderShippingProtect focuses on simplicity, enabling merchants to quickly add a shipping insurance toggle to their cart and cart drawer. This allows customers to easily add shipping protection for loss or damage during transit. Its primary strength lies in its straightforward, hands-on approach. It appears to be targeted at merchants who want full control and a direct, uncomplicated solution. SureBright Product Protection, on the other hand, positions itself as a comprehensive product protection solution, offering both extended warranties and shipping insurance. Its value proposition lies in revenue sharing, broader product coverage, brand customization, and complete management of claims. This app targets merchants interested in generating additional revenue, reducing their workload related to claims, and offering enhanced protection to their customers beyond just shipping.

Our Verdict
For merchants prioritizing simplicity and direct control over their shipping insurance, OrderShippingProtect might be suitable if it gains positive reviews and a rating in the future. However, its lack of user feedback is a significant drawback in 2026. For merchants seeking a comprehensive solution that generates revenue, handles claims, offers extended warranties, and provides customizable branding, SureBright Product Protection is the stronger choice. Its high rating, positive reviews, and robust feature set indicate a well-received and feature-rich app. Given the competitive e-commerce landscape of 2026, the enhanced coverage and managed services offered by SureBright Product Protection likely appeal to a broader range of Shopify merchants seeking to improve customer loyalty and generate additional revenue.
