OSOM Instagram feed vs Product Plusfor Shopify (2026)
OSOM Instagram feed and Product Plus are two Shopify apps serving distinctly different purposes. OSOM Instagram feed focuses on leveraging social media content to boost sales by embedding Instagram feeds directly onto Shopify stores. It aims to enhance social proof and engage visitors with visually appealing content pulled directly from Instagram. In contrast, Product Plus empowers merchants to collect custom details and requests from customers directly on product pages, enabling personalized order fulfillment. OSOM Instagram feed targets merchants looking to capitalize on their Instagram presence to drive conversions, primarily through visual marketing and social influence. Product Plus, on the other hand, caters to businesses that offer customizable products or require specific instructions from customers to fulfill orders accurately. While both apps share the 'Content - Other' category, their functionality and target users are significantly different. The limited number of reviews for both apps makes it challenging to assess their long-term performance and reliability, although both currently boast perfect 5/5 ratings.

Our Verdict
Choosing between OSOM Instagram feed and Product Plus depends entirely on your business needs. If your marketing strategy heavily relies on Instagram and you want to showcase your social media presence on your store to boost conversions, OSOM Instagram feed is the better choice. Its focus is squarely on visually appealing Instagram integration. However, if you sell customizable products or require specific instructions from customers before fulfilling orders, Product Plus is the more appropriate solution, enabling you to gather necessary details directly from product pages.
Given the significantly higher number of reviews, albeit still low, for OSOM Instagram feed, it might be considered the slightly less risky option at this point, as it suggests a larger user base and therefore more potential for identifying and resolving issues. However, potential merchants should weigh the small sample size for reviews when evaluating these apps. It may be helpful to review user reviews and support information from similar apps.
