OT : Easy Order Editing vs Relocate+ Order Editorfor Shopify (2026)
OT : Easy Order Editing and Relocate+ Order Editor both address the need for post-checkout order editing in Shopify, but cater to different segments of the market and offer drastically different feature sets. OT : Easy Order Editing, despite lacking reviews, positions itself as a simple solution for SMEs to directly edit orders and shipping details, emphasizing operational efficiency and customer service improvements. Relocate+ Order Editor, on the other hand, boasts a perfect rating and numerous reviews, focusing on empowering customers with self-service order editing capabilities through custom rules and integrations with platforms like ShipStation and Recharge. This difference in approach affects the complexity and level of automation offered by each app. Relocate+ Order Editor allows customers to cancel orders and modify product variants, something not specifically mentioned for OT : Easy Order Editing. The fundamental distinction lies in the level of control and automation provided. OT : Easy Order Editing appears to target merchants who prefer hands-on order adjustments performed internally. In contrast, Relocate+ Order Editor is geared toward merchants seeking to offload order editing tasks to their customers, thereby reducing support tickets and streamlining operations. The choice depends on whether a merchant values manual intervention and simplicity (potentially OT : Easy Order Editing, though its lack of reviews is a major risk) or automation and customer empowerment (Relocate+ Order Editor). The absence of reviews for OT : Easy Order Editing means that its actual ease of use and efficacy is unknown, creating a significant disadvantage compared to Relocate+ Order Editor.
