Our Verdict
For Shopify merchants with a strong, visually engaging Instagram presence, OT: Instagram Feed offers a direct route to converting followers into customers through shoppable posts. The real-time updates and customization options are ideal for brands prioritizing aesthetics and immediate engagement. However, merchants seeking a more comprehensive and sustainable social proof strategy should opt for Reviews Junction. Its automated review collection, photo/video capabilities, and Q&A features provide a robust platform for building trust and fostering customer loyalty. The higher number of reviews suggests it has been adopted more widely by merchants looking to leverage UGC. If you have a visually compelling brand and an active Instagram, then use OT; otherwise, Reviews Junction is the better bet.
