Our Verdict
For Shopify merchants struggling with a high volume of fake COD orders and subsequent RTOs, especially those targeting customers in regions like India, Pakistan, the Philippines, or Egypt, OTP ‑ CoD Order Verification appears to be the more suitable choice. Its focus on verifying orders before dispatching, coupled with automated customer updates, offers a comprehensive solution for reducing losses. Snap COD, with its streamlined checkout process and COD form, caters best to merchants prioritizing ease of use and checkout speed for their customers, aiming to boost sales through a simpler COD experience. Given the lack of reviews for Snap COD and the positive, albeit limited, feedback for OTP ‑ CoD Order Verification, the latter currently presents a less risky option.
