Outfit Appt vs SyncUP: Users and Course Syncfor Shopify (2026)
Outfit Appt and SyncUP: Users and Course Sync are both Shopify apps categorized under 'Selling Online - Other', but they cater to vastly different merchant needs. Outfit Appt focuses on enhancing the customer experience through personalized, one-on-one video shopping calls, aiming to boost sales by providing a virtual shopping environment driven by sales representatives. In contrast, SyncUP: Users and Course Sync targets merchants who sell online courses or integrate their Shopify store with a Learning Management System (LMS), offering features to automatically enroll users in courses based on product purchases and synchronize user data across multiple platforms. The primary divergence lies in their value proposition. Outfit Appt aims to improve customer engagement and sales conversion through live interactions, while SyncUP streamlines user management and course access for businesses involved in online education. Outfit's dashboard offers sales and booking tracking, whereas SyncUP focuses on integration capabilities with platforms like Uscreen, Thinkific, and Salesforce. Given the current data, SyncUP enjoys a significantly stronger initial reception based on its user ratings and reviews, which contrasts starkly with Outfit's lack of both.

Our Verdict
SyncUP: Users and Course Sync appears to be the stronger choice for merchants currently. Its 5/5 rating and 9 reviews suggest it delivers on its promises of user and course synchronization, particularly for businesses offering online courses. Merchants operating an LMS and seeking to automate user enrollment will find SyncUP a valuable tool. Outfit Appt, while potentially offering a novel sales approach through live video shopping, lacks any user feedback and thus presents a higher risk for adoption.
If a merchant is particularly keen on experimenting with innovative sales techniques and believes their product is well-suited for a guided, one-on-one shopping experience, they might consider Outfit Appt. However, they should be aware of the absence of user reviews and factor in the necessary time for training sales representatives on the platform. SyncUP, in its current state, provides a more stable and proven solution for a specific niche of merchants.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up?
Based on the descriptions, SyncUP likely requires technical setup to integrate with LMS platforms. Outfit may be simpler initially but requires training for sales reps to use effectively, so ease of setup may be comparable. However, SyncUP's initial setup could prove more demanding based on platform integration.
Which app is better for increasing average order value?
Outfit Appt potentially has a higher chance of increasing the average order value due to the live interaction and ability for sales representatives to upsell or cross-sell products during the shopping experience. SyncUP is focused on course enrollment and won't directly impact average order values for physical products.
Which app requires more staff training?
Outfit Appt explicitly requires staff training for sales representatives to effectively conduct video shopping appointments. SyncUP's setup might require some technical expertise, but wouldn't necessitate extensive staff training beyond understanding its functionality.
Which app is more suitable for physical product businesses?
Outfit Appt is primarily designed for physical product businesses looking to offer a more personalized shopping experience. SyncUP is tailored for businesses selling online courses or integrating their Shopify store with an LMS, making it a poor choice for traditional physical product sales.
What are the biggest risks in choosing Outfit Appt?
The biggest risk with Outfit Appt is the lack of user reviews. Without feedback, it's impossible to determine its reliability, usability, or effectiveness. Merchants adopting it would be early adopters taking a chance on an unproven platform. Furthermore, the lack of reviews also casts uncertainty on the quality of the app's support.
