Outfy ‑ Social Media Auto Post vs Picture It: AR & Art Previewsfor Shopify (2026)
Outfy - Social Media Auto Post and Picture It: AR & Art Previews are both Shopify apps focused on improving the shopping experience but cater to vastly different needs. Outfy is designed to streamline social media marketing by automating the posting of products and content. Picture It, on the other hand, provides augmented reality (AR) and virtual showroom capabilities for art and decor stores, allowing customers to visualize products in their own spaces before purchasing. They happen to share the 'Images and Media' category on Shopify, but that's where the similarities end. The core difference lies in their value proposition. Outfy focuses on increasing brand visibility and driving traffic through automated social media activity. Picture It directly tackles purchase hesitation by providing immersive AR previews that build customer confidence and, ideally, boost conversions. While Outfy serves a broader range of Shopify merchants looking to enhance their social media presence, Picture It is highly specialized for businesses selling art, decor, and potentially even furniture where visual representation is crucial.
