Outlink External Links Button vs Pagetify Landing Page Builderfor Shopify (2026)
Outlink External Links Button and Pagetify Landing Page Builder, while sharing the 'Page Builder' category on Shopify, serve distinctly different purposes and target different merchant needs. Outlink focuses specifically on enabling merchants to redirect customers from product pages to external websites, affiliate links, or internal links. Its core value proposition lies in its simplicity and direct integration with the 'Add to Cart' button, allowing merchants to easily monetize through affiliate marketing or sell digital products hosted elsewhere. It emphasizes external linking and tracking performance via analytics. Pagetify, on the other hand, is a comprehensive landing page builder designed for creating visually appealing and high-converting store pages from scratch or using pre-built templates. It offers a drag-and-drop interface, a wide array of design elements, and integrations with popular review and marketing apps. Pagetify prioritizes control over page design, SEO optimization, and overall store aesthetics, catering to merchants who want to customize their online presence beyond basic product pages. The shared categorization on Shopify stems from Pagetify's ability to customize product pages too, but their primary function differs substantially.

Our Verdict
For Shopify merchants primarily focused on affiliate marketing or selling digital products externally, the Outlink External Links Button is the clear choice. Its simplicity, direct integration with the 'Add to Cart' button, and built-in analytics make it ideal for quickly monetizing product pages through external links. Merchants prioritizing comprehensive control over their store's design and user experience should opt for Pagetify Landing Page Builder. It allows for creation of completely unique and branded pages from scratch or from templates.
While both apps fall under the umbrella of 'Page Builders', they address fundamentally different needs within the Shopify ecosystem. Outlink is a specialized tool, while Pagetify is a versatile platform. Therefore, the selection depends entirely on the merchant's specific goals and priorities.
