Our Verdict
Choosing between Oxilayer PDF Invoice Generator and Taxify: VAT Dual Price Display depends heavily on your business needs. If your primary concern is creating professional and customized PDF invoices for orders, Oxilayer is likely the better choice, given its solid reputation based on 105 reviews. However, if your business operates across different VAT regions, sells to both B2B and B2C customers, and requires accurate and transparent VAT handling, Taxify is the clear winner, despite having only one review. Its specialized VAT features are essential for maintaining compliance and building customer trust. While Oxilayer has more reviews, the utility of those reviews is diminished if VAT management is your primary need.
Common Questions
Which app is better for stores selling to both B2B and B2C customers in Europe?
Taxify: VAT Dual Price Display is the more suitable app, as it provides the necessary features for displaying prices with and without VAT and validating European VAT IDs.
Does Oxilayer PDF Invoice Generator handle VAT calculations?
Based on the available information, Oxilayer PDF Invoice Generator appears to focus on generating PDF invoices. It's unlikely to offer advanced VAT calculation or display features.
How difficult is it to set up VAT rules with Taxify?
Taxify allows you to create country-specific VAT rules with percentage or fixed amounts, and it offers features like VIES validation, implying a relatively straightforward setup process. More information may be available within the app's detailed documentation.
Is Taxify suitable for stores only selling within their own country with a single VAT rate?
While Taxify can still be used to show prices with and without VAT, its advanced features like country-specific rules might be overkill for a store with a single VAT rate. Consider whether the dual price display feature is worth the cost for your business.
Why does Taxify have only one review compared to Oxilayer's 105?
There could be several reasons. Taxify might be a newer app, have a niche focus, or be less actively promoted. Low review counts don't necessarily indicate a bad app, but merchants should proceed with caution and research carefully.
