Oxilayer PDF Invoice Generator vs T‑Selector (VAT Switcher)for Shopify (2026)
Oxilayer PDF Invoice Generator and T‑Selector (VAT Switcher) both cater to Shopify merchants operating in the Finances and Taxes categories, but they address distinct needs. Oxilayer focuses on generating professional PDF invoices, likely with customization options and potentially aimed at improving branding and financial record-keeping. Its perfect 5/5 rating across 105 reviews suggests high user satisfaction with its core invoicing functionality and ease of use. In contrast, T‑Selector (VAT Switcher) specifically targets merchants dealing with Value Added Tax (VAT), likely enabling features like automatic VAT calculation, display options, and compliance with different regional VAT regulations. Its 4.7/5 rating with 31 reviews, while still positive, indicates a more niche user base primarily concerned with VAT-related functionalities. The primary difference lies in their core purpose: Oxilayer handles invoices in general, while T‑Selector is specialized for VAT management. Merchants seeking a robust invoicing solution with PDF generation capabilities will likely gravitate towards Oxilayer, while those specifically requiring tools to handle VAT calculation and display options will find T‑Selector more relevant. The higher review count and perfect rating for Oxilayer may also indicate a broader appeal and potentially a more established presence, although it's crucial to consider whether a merchant truly needs only invoice generation or comprehensive VAT handling.

Our Verdict
For merchants whose primary need is generating professional-looking PDF invoices for record-keeping and branding, Oxilayer PDF Invoice Generator is the clear choice, especially given its high rating and significant number of positive reviews. However, if a merchant's core requirement revolves around accurate and compliant VAT handling across multiple regions or products, T‑Selector (VAT Switcher) is the more suitable option, despite its slightly lower rating and fewer reviews. In this case, specialization trumps general functionality.
Ultimately, the best choice depends on the merchant's specific financial and tax management requirements. If VAT is not a significant concern, Oxilayer's ease of use and widespread positive feedback make it a compelling option. If VAT is a critical aspect of their business, T-Selector's specialized features will likely outweigh the difference in ratings and review count.
