PalSync | PayPal Tracking Sync vs Synctrack PayPal Tracking Syncfor Shopify (2026)
PalSync | PayPal Tracking Sync and Synctrack PayPal Tracking Sync both aim to help Shopify merchants sync order tracking information with PayPal and Stripe to reduce fund holds, disputes, and chargebacks. Synctrack presents itself as a more established and reputable solution, boasting a high rating based on a substantial number of reviews, and claiming to be a PayPal partner. PalSync, on the other hand, is positioning itself on the back of its 'AI Sync' feature, implying superior automation, though the very low rating and single review suggest caution. The 'Smart Rules Engine' in PalSync may appeal to merchants with very specific or unusual shipping scenarios, while Synctrack's multi-store management capability may be useful to bigger merchants.

Our Verdict
Given the significant difference in ratings and reviews, Synctrack PayPal Tracking Sync appears to be the safer and more reliable option for most Shopify merchants. Its established reputation, high user satisfaction, and explicit support for Facebook and Instagram sales channels make it a compelling choice, especially for larger businesses managing multiple stores or dealing with digital/pickup orders. PalSync | PayPal Tracking Sync, while promising AI-powered automation and a 'Smart Rules Engine', carries a substantial risk due to its extremely low rating and lack of user feedback. Only merchants with highly specific and unusual tracking needs, willing to take a chance on a potentially unproven product, might consider PalSync – and even then, with extreme caution.
Common Questions
Does PalSync | PayPal Tracking Sync really use AI?
The app description claims to use AI, but with only one review, it is difficult to verify the effectiveness or accuracy of this feature. Potential users should exercise caution and seek further evidence before relying on this claim.
Which app is easier to use?
Based on the 'Install it and forget it' statement in PalSync's description, it aims for simplicity. However, Synctrack's higher rating suggests a smoother overall user experience, including easier setup and reliable operation. Synctrack also mentions having free store reviews according to PayPal standards, which hints at expert setup help.
Is PalSync's 'Smart Rules Engine' better than Synctrack's automation?
PalSync's 'Smart Rules Engine' caters to complex or niche scenarios, while Synctrack focuses on general automation across various channels. If your tracking needs are standard, Synctrack's proven track record makes it the better choice. Only if you have complex requirements with unique shipping cases, might the complexity that the Smart Rules Engine is trying to solve be beneficial.
Which app is best for a small store just starting?
Synctrack, with its superior rating and established reputation, is the better choice for a small store that prioritizes reliability and avoiding potential problems. PalSync's unproven performance could create unnecessary headaches when the small merchant is focusing on all the other important tasks of running a business.
Does PalSync track all channels?
While PalSync doesn't explicitly state sales channel support, Synctrack explicitly supports tracking data from Facebook and Instagram. This means that for those merchants using the Facebook and Instagram sales channel, Synctrack is the only choice until PalSync clarifies what channels it supports.
