Pandectes GDPR Compliance vs SA Request a Quote, Hide Pricefor Shopify (2026)
Pandectes GDPR Compliance and SA Request a Quote, Hide Price are Shopify apps catering to drastically different needs. Pandectes GDPR Compliance positions itself as an all-in-one solution for global privacy regulation compliance, focusing on GDPR, CCPA, LGPD and more. Its strength lies in its comprehensive feature set, including customizable cookie banners, consent management, and compliance certifications like Google Certified CMP and Microsoft Certified CMP. It's ideal for merchants operating in regions with stringent data privacy laws and requiring robust consent tracking and management. It supports a range of Shopify integrations, including Checkout and Web Pixel. SA Request a Quote, Hide Price, on the other hand, targets merchants, primarily in the D2C and B2B spaces, seeking to implement request-for-quote (RFQ) functionality and price negotiation capabilities within their Shopify stores. SA Request a Quote, Hide Price empowers customers to submit quote requests for products, enabling price negotiation and customized pricing. Its key features include RFQ button customization, price hiding options (based on tags, vendor, collection, etc.), and quote-to-order conversion tools. While both apps fall under the broader 'Notifications' category, their functionalities are vastly different. Pandectes focuses on legal compliance and data privacy, while SA Request a Quote focuses on sales enablement and price negotiation. The significantly higher number of reviews for Pandectes suggests a broader applicability and perhaps a longer presence in the Shopify app ecosystem, but does not necessarily mean it is superior for all use cases.

Our Verdict
The choice between Pandectes GDPR Compliance and SA Request a Quote, Hide Price hinges entirely on the merchant's needs. If a merchant's primary concern is adhering to data privacy regulations like GDPR and CCPA, then Pandectes GDPR Compliance is the clear choice. Its comprehensive features and certifications make it a robust solution for managing customer consent and ensuring compliance. However, if the merchant operates in a business environment where price negotiation is common or desires to offer custom pricing options, then SA Request a Quote, Hide Price is the better fit. Its RFQ functionality and price hiding options empower merchants to engage with customers and potentially increase sales. They are not substitutes for one another.
