Our Verdict
If a merchant's priority is to comply with GDPR, CCPA, and other privacy regulations, and they require comprehensive consent management tools, Pandectes GDPR Compliance is the clear choice. Its integration with Shopify's Customer Privacy API, along with certifications and advanced features like a cookie scanner, make it a powerful solution. However, for merchants who simply want to display basic announcements or promotions through a scrolling banner and prioritize ease of use, Simple Marquee is more suitable. It offers a quick and straightforward way to communicate with customers without the complexity of legal compliance features.
