Payflow: COD & Payment Methods vs RT: Terms and Conditions Boxfor Shopify (2026)
Payflow: COD & Payment Methods and RT: Terms and Conditions Box address very different needs within the Shopify checkout experience. Payflow focuses on streamlining Cash on Delivery (COD) options and payment method customization. It aims to give merchants greater control over how payment and delivery methods are presented and used by customers, employing conditional logic for advanced configurations. RT: Terms and Conditions Box, on the other hand, focuses solely on legal compliance and protecting the merchant by requiring customers to explicitly agree to terms and conditions before completing a purchase. Payflow is suited for merchants seeking granular control over their payment and delivery options, especially those heavily reliant on COD or needing complex rules to manage these methods. The app's strength lies in its advanced condition tool and integration with native Shopify functions. RT: Terms and Conditions Box is simpler in scope, catering to merchants who prioritize legal protection and require a straightforward way to ensure customers acknowledge their terms. It offers customization in terms of visual placement and appearance of the checkbox but lacks the complex conditional logic present in Payflow.
