Our Verdict
Payment Rules Hide PaymentHero is the clear choice for most merchants in 2026 due to its overwhelmingly positive reviews and focus on ease of use and checkout conversion. It's best suited for merchants who want a simple, reliable solution for hiding, sorting and renaming payment methods without needing complex, fine-grained control. PayMix might be considered only by merchants with very specific and complex requirements that necessitate the use of numerous parameters (20+) for customization, and who are comfortable with the risk associated with the low rating and lack of reviews. However, given the disparity in user feedback, thoroughly investigating the reasons behind PayMix's low rating is essential before making any decision.
