Payment Rules Hide PaymentHero vs Quantity Selector Plusfor Shopify (2026)
Payment Rules Hide PaymentHero and Quantity Selector Plus both aim to enhance the Shopify checkout experience but target different aspects. Payment Rules Hide PaymentHero focuses on optimizing the payment options displayed to the customer, enabling merchants to sort, hide, and rename payment methods based on customer segments and business needs. The app boasts a high rating and substantial review count, suggesting strong user satisfaction and established performance. Its value proposition centers around increasing checkout conversion by providing a tailored payment experience. Quantity Selector Plus, on the other hand, addresses checkout usability by allowing customers to directly adjust item quantities within the checkout process. This aims to reduce cart abandonment and improve customer satisfaction by providing more flexibility. However, the app currently lacks user reviews and ratings, making it difficult to assess its real-world performance and user experience. It positions itself as a solution for merchants seeking to enhance the ease and efficiency of the checkout process through direct quantity adjustments. The key difference lies in their focus: payment method optimization versus checkout usability concerning quantity adjustments.

Our Verdict
Payment Rules Hide PaymentHero appears to be the more established and reliable choice currently, given its high rating and numerous positive reviews. It's ideal for merchants with a diverse range of payment options who want to optimize the checkout experience based on customer segments and business rules. The strong support offered is a plus. Quantity Selector Plus could be a viable option for merchants specifically struggling with cart abandonment related to quantity adjustments. However, given the lack of user reviews, merchants should proceed with caution and potentially utilize any available free trial to thoroughly test its functionality and integration with their store before committing. If the goal is primarily increasing checkout conversion by tailoring the available payment methods, Payment Rules Hide PaymentHero is the recommended choice. If the primary issue is customer frustration with quantity adjustments, and the merchant is willing to take a risk on an unproven app, then Quantity Selector Plus may be worth exploring.
