Our Verdict
For merchants prioritizing checkout conversion optimization and offering a range of payment methods, Payment Rules Hide PaymentHero appears to be the stronger choice. Its features for customizing payment presentation and targeting customer segments directly address conversion rate improvement. The large number of positive reviews further supports its effectiveness and reliability.
On the other hand, if a merchant's primary concern is preventing fraudulent orders, especially those involving fake or stolen phone numbers, SealSafe Checkout Phone Verify may be worth exploring, although the extremely limited review data makes it difficult to assess its actual performance. The app's success hinges on the phone verification process working effectively, and with only one review, this cannot be confidently determined. Given the current data, Payment Rules Hide PaymentHero seems to be the safer and more established option for most Shopify merchants.
