Our Verdict
For merchants experiencing significant issues with fraudulent COD orders and high RTO rates, Shiprocket: Smart COD is the more targeted solution. Its focus on blocking bogus orders and customizing COD options directly addresses these pain points. However, the lower rating and review count should be considered. For merchants looking for a broader approach to payment optimization, aiming to improve conversion rates by presenting the most relevant payment options and customizing the checkout experience, Payment Rules Hide PaymentHero is likely the better choice. The higher rating and significant number of reviews suggest a higher level of user satisfaction. If COD isn't a major problem, Payment Rules Hide PaymentHero is the stronger option overall.
