Our Verdict
Payment Rules Hide PaymentHero is best suited for merchants seeking a straightforward solution to optimize their payment method display and improve checkout conversion quickly. It's a good choice for businesses with standard checkout flows and a primary focus on optimizing payment options. On the other hand, SMART Checkout Rules is ideal for merchants requiring more sophisticated control over their checkout process. This includes businesses with complex B2B requirements, international customers, or those needing to mitigate high-risk orders. The conditional logic features provide significant flexibility, albeit with a potentially steeper learning curve. If the goal is simple payment method optimization, Payment Rules Hide PaymentHero offers a more streamlined solution, however, if advanced rule based configuration on checkout is desired, SMART Checkout Rules provides that functionality.
