Photolock ‑ Pasilobus vs TikFeed ‑ TikTok Feedfor Shopify (2026)
Photolock ‑ Pasilobus and TikFeed ‑ TikTok Feed cater to entirely different needs of Shopify merchants. Photolock focuses on securing and protecting visual content from theft and unauthorized use. It aims to provide peace of mind by preventing right-clicks, disabling keyboard shortcuts, adding watermarks, blocking search engine indexing of images, and even hiding source code. TikFeed, on the other hand, is designed to leverage the popularity of TikTok by displaying TikTok feeds on a merchant's storefront, turning social proof into shoppable videos, and ultimately driving sales. The apps are dissimilar in their core functions and target audiences. Photolock targets merchants who heavily rely on original images and content and are concerned about intellectual property theft. Its value proposition lies in providing robust image protection features. TikFeed, conversely, is ideal for businesses that are active on TikTok and seek to integrate their social media presence with their online store. The app focuses on social proof and conversion, offering features like grid or slider feed displays and product tagging. The review counts vary significantly; Photolock has 35 reviews while TikFeed has 7. This difference may affect a merchant's confidence in choosing between the two. Despite TikFeed having a higher rating, Photolock has more customer reviews, potentially giving it an edge in perceived reliability due to a larger sample size.

Our Verdict
The choice between Photolock and TikFeed hinges entirely on a merchant's specific needs. If the priority is safeguarding visual assets and preventing content theft, Photolock ‑ Pasilobus is the clear choice. Its security features are designed to deter unauthorized use and protect intellectual property. However, if the goal is to leverage TikTok content to boost sales and social following, TikFeed ‑ TikTok Feed is the better option. Its integration with TikTok allows merchants to showcase social proof and create shoppable experiences.
Merchants should not see these apps as interchangeable. They address distinct challenges. For stores heavily reliant on original imagery and designs, the perceived lower rating for Photolock might not outweigh the need for its security features. Conversely, for brands heavily promoting on TikTok, TikFeed is indispensable, regardless of its lower review count. Ultimately, the selection depends on the core business strategy and the relative importance of content protection versus social media integration.
