Our Verdict
SEO Speed Image Optimizer is the clear choice for merchants prioritizing site performance and SEO. Its overwhelmingly positive reviews and focus on a critical aspect of e-commerce (image optimization) make it a more reliable option. PickSlide may be useful for merchants who specifically need a collection carousel and are willing to risk using an app with limited positive feedback. However, given the low rating, it's advisable to explore alternative collection carousel apps with stronger user validation before committing to PickSlide. Unless visual presentation is critical *and* images are already optimized, the clear choice is App Plaza's product.
Common Questions
Does PickSlide improve site loading speed?
The app description doesn't mention site speed optimization. It focuses on showcasing collections, so it's unlikely to improve loading speed and could even negatively impact it if not implemented efficiently.
Can SEO Speed Image Optimizer create carousels?
No, SEO Speed Image Optimizer is strictly for image optimization and doesn't offer carousel functionality.
Which app is easier to use?
Based on descriptions, SEO Speed Image Optimizer likely offers a simpler user experience due to features like bulk image editing. PickSlide's ease of use will depend on the complexity of its template customization options, but its lack of user validation is concerning.
Which app is better for improving sales?
Both apps *indirectly* improve sales, but in different ways. PickSlide aims to increase sales by showcasing top collections in an engaging way. SEO Speed Image Optimizer helps increase sales by improving site speed, SEO ranking, and overall user experience. Given the rating difference and SEO importance, App Plaza's is likelier to improve sales.
Which app has better customer support?
There is no information available regarding customer support for either application. The significant difference in the number of reviews might suggest a more active and responsive team behind the SEO Speed Image Optimizer app.
