Pickware ERP & WMS vs Synkro: Inventory Syncfor Shopify (2026)
Both Pickware ERP & WMS and Synkro: Inventory Sync receive a perfect 5/5 rating on the Shopify App Store as of 2026, however, Synkro boasts significantly more reviews (85) compared to Pickware ERP & WMS (16), suggesting a broader user base and more established presence. Synkro focuses primarily on effortless multi-store synchronization of inventory, products, and orders. Its key strengths lie in real-time syncing, product cloning between stores, and dynamic pricing strategies through custom price rules. These capabilities suggest that Synkro is tailored toward merchants operating multiple Shopify stores who need streamlined inventory and product management across their entire ecosystem. Pickware ERP & WMS, while also focused on inventory management (as indicated by its categorization), operates within a broader ERP and WMS (Warehouse Management System) context. While the description is minimal and does not explicitly state its features, the name indicates a more comprehensive suite of tools. Given the 'ERP' and 'WMS' designation, Pickware likely caters to merchants who require not only inventory management but also broader operational support covering aspects like order fulfillment, shipping, and potentially even accounting. The lack of detailed information about Pickware's feature set compared to Synkro makes it harder to evaluate specific capabilities.

Our Verdict
For merchants operating multiple Shopify stores seeking streamlined inventory and product synchronization with features like product cloning and dynamic pricing, Synkro: Inventory Sync appears to be the more focused and suitable choice. Its emphasis on ease of use and real-time syncing across stores makes it ideal for businesses wanting to avoid manual inventory adjustments and pricing discrepancies.
Conversely, Pickware ERP & WMS, while lacking detailed information, likely caters to merchants needing a more comprehensive solution encompassing not only inventory management but also broader ERP and WMS capabilities. Without further details about its specific functionalities, it's difficult to assess its suitability. However, merchants requiring features beyond simple inventory syncing, such as advanced order management, warehouse management, and shipping functionalities, should investigate Pickware further. The smaller number of reviews compared to Synkro might indicate that it is newer or caters to a niche market.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up and use?
Based on the descriptions, Synkro is likely easier to set up and use due to its focused feature set and emphasis on effortless syncing. Pickware, as an ERP & WMS, might involve a more complex setup process due to its broader range of functionalities.
Which app is better for managing multiple warehouses?
Pickware ERP & WMS, based on the 'WMS' designation, likely provides features for managing multiple warehouses. Synkro focuses on syncing across *stores*, not necessarily warehouses, making it less suitable for complex warehouse management needs within a single store.
Which app offers dynamic pricing capabilities?
Synkro explicitly mentions custom price rules that allow automatic product price adjustments, enabling dynamic pricing strategies. There is no explicit mention of pricing features in the Pickware description, so the functionality is unknown.
Which app is better for businesses with only one Shopify store?
Synkro is primarily designed for multi-store syncing, making it less relevant for single-store businesses. Pickware, depending on its specific features, could potentially be beneficial even for single-store operations if the business requires comprehensive ERP/WMS capabilities.
Which app provides real-time inventory updates?
Synkro explicitly states that it offers real-time inventory level syncing. While Pickware's description doesn't directly state this, real-time updates are common for modern ERP and WMS systems. Whether its updates are as fast and focused as Synkro's for the use case of inventory sync across separate storefronts is unknown.
