Our Verdict
For most Shopify merchants in 2026, SEO Speed Image Optimizer is the clear winner. Its perfect rating and high review count strongly suggest a reliable and effective solution for improving site speed and SEO through image optimization. The focus on core features and ease of use makes it accessible to a wider range of users.
Picsmize might appeal to a very specific niche of merchants who require AI-powered background removal and image renaming capabilities. However, the extremely low rating raises significant concerns about its overall reliability and user experience. Unless the background removal and image renaming features are absolutely critical, SEO Speed Image Optimizer provides a safer and more trustworthy option for the vast majority of Shopify store owners.
