Picture It: AR & Art Previews vs TryOn ‑AI Virtual Fitting Roomfor Shopify (2026)
Picture It: AR & Art Previews focuses on augmented reality (AR) previews for wall art, targeting art galleries, art stores, and decor shops. Its strength lies in visualizing artwork on walls and in virtual showrooms, requiring no 3D models or coding. It boasts a perfect 5/5 rating based on 35 reviews. TryOn ‑AI Virtual Fitting Room, on the other hand, targets fashion stores with AI-powered virtual try-on, allowing customers to upload photos and virtually 'wear' clothing. It aims to reduce returns and increase sales. The critical difference is the target product category: wall art vs. clothing. Picture It leverages AR to show how art looks in a physical space, while TryOn uses AI to simulate clothing being worn. Picture It offers dimension importing, auto-framing, and virtual showrooms. TryOn provides an AI assistant for personalized recommendations and tracks try-on sessions for inventory optimization. A key concern for TryOn is that it currently has no ratings or reviews.

Our Verdict
For merchants selling wall art, Picture It: AR & Art Previews is the clear choice. Its established reputation (5/5 rating, 35 reviews) and art-specific features like virtual showrooms and auto-framing make it ideal for boosting art sales. TryOn ‑AI Virtual Fitting Room is tailored for fashion stores aiming to reduce returns by letting customers virtually try on clothes.
However, the complete lack of reviews and ratings for TryOn is a significant risk. Fashion merchants should proceed with caution, possibly waiting for user feedback to emerge before fully committing. If virtual try-on is essential, thoroughly vet TryOn with extensive testing before relying on it.
