Picture It: AR & Art Previews vs TryOnMe Glasses Virtual Try Onfor Shopify (2026)
Picture It: AR & Art Previews and TryOnMe Glasses Virtual Try On both offer augmented reality (AR) experiences on Shopify, but they cater to vastly different niches. Picture It is specifically designed for art galleries, art stores, and decor shops, allowing customers to preview wall art in 3D, augmented reality, and virtual showrooms. It emphasizes ease of use, requiring no 3D models or coding, and focuses on boosting art sales through realistic AR previews and customizable features like auto-framing and built-in analytics. The app also boasts significantly more reviews suggesting a larger user base and more proven utility. TryOnMe Glasses Virtual Try On, based on the name, targets eyewear retailers. While it shares the 3D/AR/VR category, the limited available information prevents a full feature comparison. It currently has only one review, indicating it is newer or less widely adopted than Picture It. The key difference lies in their product focus: wall art versus glasses. Picture It provides comprehensive tools tailored for art presentation including virtual rooms and automated dimension imports, features that are irrelevant for eyeglasses sales. TryOnMe likely focuses solely on overlaying glasses onto a user's face, although details are not provided.

Our Verdict
The choice between Picture It: AR & Art Previews and TryOnMe Glasses Virtual Try On is straightforward: Picture It is ideal for any business selling wall art and decor, looking to provide realistic AR previews and virtual showroom experiences. Its feature set is highly specialized for art presentation and sales.
TryOnMe Glasses Virtual Try On is suited to businesses selling eyeglasses or sunglasses online. The absence of detailed feature information and the very small number of reviews make it difficult to fully assess its capabilities. However, the specialization in eyeglasses makes it the clear, but still somewhat speculative, choice in that niche. Merchants should proceed with caution due to the limited data available on TryOnMe.
