Our Verdict
For merchants needing precise control over order quantities, amounts, or weight, especially in B2B or wholesale scenarios, Pify: Order Limits Quantity appears to be the more suitable choice. Its ability to set limits at the product, variant, and collection level provides unparalleled flexibility. However, for merchants primarily focused on product launches, pre-sales, or limited-time sales campaigns, RuffRuff Selling Periods offers a simpler and more streamlined solution. Its ability to hide the "Add to Cart" button and display custom messages before, during, and after sales creates a more engaging and controlled customer experience, making it a strong contender for those specific needs. RuffRuff's claim of being the first in Japan to utilize the Cart and Checkout Validation API also gives it a competitive edge in preventing out-of-period purchases.
