Pixee ‑ Multi Pixel & Meta Ads vs SupaEasy: AI Functions creatorfor Shopify (2026)
Pixee ‑ Multi Pixel & Meta Ads and SupaEasy: AI Functions creator both fall under the 'Operations' category on the Shopify app store, but they address fundamentally different needs. Pixee focuses on marketing and advertising, specifically helping merchants manage and optimize their Meta Ads and pixel tracking. SupaEasy, on the other hand, concentrates on checkout customization by enabling merchants to generate functions for discounts, shipping, payment, and validation, especially important given the upcoming deprecation of Scripts. Pixee is targeted at merchants who need help optimizing their Meta ad campaigns. SupaEasy targets both Shopify Plus merchants already using scripts, and standard Shopify merchants wanting advanced checkout functionality. SupaEasy offers an AI-powered approach to generating these functions, aiming to simplify the process even for those without coding skills. This difference defines their core value propositions. While Pixee aims to improve advertising performance, SupaEasy strives to give merchants more control over their checkout experience and adapt to changes in the Shopify platform (script deprecation). SupaEasy, with its Shopify Editions.dev win, likely provides features aligning with cutting-edge Shopify development best practices. The number of reviews is higher for SupaEasy, possibly reflecting a broader appeal or the importance of the functionality it provides in light of Script deprecation. Both appear to be well-regarded, but SupaEasy's higher rating and focus on AI assisted function creation suggest it might be perceived as more innovative and user-friendly for its target demographic.

Our Verdict
For merchants primarily concerned with optimizing their Meta Ads campaigns and managing pixel tracking, Pixee ‑ Multi Pixel & Meta Ads is the more suitable choice. Its focus is squarely on improving ad performance and gathering accurate data. However, if the primary goal is to gain greater control over the checkout process, especially in the context of Script deprecation, and the desire is to implement custom discounts, shipping rules, payment options, or validation steps without coding expertise, then SupaEasy: AI Functions creator is the clear winner. SupaEasy offers a forward-thinking solution leveraging AI to simplify the creation and migration of checkout functions, making it more valuable to merchants wanting more control over checkout and moving away from deprecated Script functionality.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to use for someone without coding experience?
SupaEasy is designed for users without coding experience. It utilizes an AI assistant to generate functions based on text descriptions and provides a migrator for existing scripts. Pixee's ease of use is not explicitly stated, but ad platform integrations often have a learning curve.
Which app is more future-proof?
SupaEasy appears more future-proof as it directly addresses the upcoming deprecation of Scripts and offers a migration path using new Shopify Functions. It also won a ShopTank award at Editions 25. Pixee's long-term relevance depends on the continued importance of Meta Ads and pixel tracking, but it does not explicitly address platform changes.
If I only need one of these apps, which should I choose?
It depends on your core business needs. If Meta Ads are a critical part of your marketing strategy, Pixee is more relevant. If you need greater control over your checkout process and require custom functionality, especially after Scripts are deprecated, SupaEasy is the better choice.
Do both apps integrate directly into the Shopify checkout?
Pixee integrates to track data and optimize Meta ads. SupaEasy directly modifies the checkout by creating functions that change checkout behavior (discounts, shipping, payment etc.).
Which app is better for Shopify Plus users?
SupaEasy is explicitly beneficial for Shopify Plus users who are currently using Scripts and need to migrate to Functions. While Pixee could still be useful for optimizing Meta Ads, SupaEasy directly addresses a key need for Plus merchants facing platform changes.
