Pixelio‑ Facebook Pixels & API vs Zigpoll Customer Surveysfor Shopify (2026)
Pixelio‑ Facebook Pixels & API and Zigpoll Customer Surveys are both Shopify apps operating within the 'Operations' and 'Analytics' categories, but they serve fundamentally different purposes. Pixelio focuses on enhancing Facebook advertising by improving data collection and tracking through multiple Facebook Pixels and Conversion API integration. Its core strength lies in providing accurate and comprehensive event tracking to optimize ad campaigns. Zigpoll, on the other hand, centers on collecting customer feedback through various survey types (post-purchase, pre-purchase, etc.) delivered via on-site widgets, email, or SMS. Its strength lies in leveraging zero-party data to inform business decisions and improve customer experience. The target audience for Pixelio is merchants heavily invested in Facebook and Instagram advertising who need reliable and comprehensive tracking, especially in light of iOS 14 privacy changes. Merchants seeking to deeply understand their customer base, identify pain points, and improve satisfaction will find Zigpoll more suitable. While both apps ultimately contribute to increased sales and revenue, Pixelio does so through optimized advertising and Zigpoll through improved customer experience and informed decision-making.

Our Verdict
For merchants prioritizing advertising efficiency and accuracy, especially on Facebook and Instagram, Pixelio is the clear choice. The ability to manage multiple pixels and leverage Conversion API is critical for capturing complete data and optimizing ad spend. However, if understanding customer needs and pain points is the primary focus, Zigpoll is the superior option. Its survey capabilities and AI-powered analytics provide valuable insights for improving the customer experience and overall business strategy.
In short, choose Pixelio if your ROI hinges on Facebook ads, and choose Zigpoll if you believe customer feedback is the key to unlocking growth. A store with a substantial ad spend that requires excellent tracking will definitely benefit more from Pixelio than from Zigpoll, and vice versa.
