Our Verdict
For merchants seeking a well-established SEO app with a large user base and a focus on comprehensive audits, "Plug in SEO ‑ Smart SEO Audits" is likely a solid choice. Its lower rating compared to "SEO On", however, warrants further investigation into user reviews for specific concerns. On the other hand, if a merchant is looking for cutting-edge, AI-driven SEO optimization and is comfortable potentially facing a steeper learning curve, "SEO On: AEO optimizer LLMs.txt" could be a better fit, assuming the core features of LLM-powered optimisation are relevant to their SEO goals.
Ultimately, the best choice depends on the merchant's technical expertise, budget, and specific SEO goals. For those hesitant to rely entirely on AI and preferring a tried-and-tested approach, "Plug in SEO" offers broader appeal. For technically proficient merchants keen on experimentation, "SEO On" might provide a competitive edge.
