PlusSales ‑ AI A/B Testing vs SupaEasy: AI Functions creatorfor Shopify (2026)
PlusSales - AI A/B Testing and SupaEasy: AI Functions creator, while both automating workflows, cater to very distinct Shopify merchant needs. PlusSales focuses on conversion rate optimization (CRO) by leveraging AI to analyze store analytics and generate A/B testing hypotheses. Its target audience is CRO teams or merchants seriously invested in data-driven website improvement, specifically those already using or planning to use A/B testing platforms like VWO or Optimizely. PlusSales aims to drastically reduce the research phase of A/B testing, offering structured, prioritized recommendations based on real store metrics. SupaEasy, on the other hand, addresses the complexities of Shopify Functions, particularly in light of the impending deprecation of Shopify Scripts. It offers a no-code solution for creating and migrating customizations for discounts, shipping, payments, and validation. This app is targeted at both Shopify Plus merchants migrating from scripts and general Shopify merchants needing advanced checkout control. SupaEasy emphasizes accessibility, enabling even non-technical users to leverage the power of Shopify Functions through its AI-powered function generator and user-friendly interface. SupaEasy is generally more useful and approachable for more merchants because Scripts are generally used more often than in-depth A/B testing strategies. These apps have completely different values. If you want to improve your conversion rate optimization, go with PlusSales. If you want to modify your Shopify store without coding, go with SupaEasy.

Our Verdict
For merchants heavily invested in A/B testing and looking to streamline their CRO research, PlusSales is the better choice. Its AI-driven hypothesis generation can significantly accelerate the testing process. However, given the very small number of reviews, exercise caution. SupaEasy is the superior option for merchants needing to implement custom discounts, shipping rules, payment options, or validation rules without relying on custom code. The significant number of reviews and the app's focus on simplifying Shopify Functions makes it a reliable solution for checkout customization, especially as Shopify Scripts become deprecated.
