PopSpin ‑ Spin Wheel Popup vs Trustoo Pop ups, Email Popupsfor Shopify (2026)
PopSpin ‑ Spin Wheel Popup focuses solely on providing a highly customizable spin-the-wheel popup for email list growth and conversion, emphasizing control over win probabilities and real-time previews. It targets merchants seeking a simple, direct solution for adding a spin wheel to their store with fine-grained control over its specific parameters. Trustoo Pop ups, Email Popups, on the other hand, offers a broader suite of marketing tools, including popups (including spin wheels), email campaigns, and automation features. It aims to be a comprehensive platform for e-commerce growth, encompassing email list building and post-capture nurturing through automated email sequences. The sheer volume of reviews heavily favors Trustoo, indicating a much larger user base and broader adoption. While both apps offer spin-the-wheel functionality, their scope and target audience differ significantly. PopSpin caters to merchants who prioritize granular control and a focused spin-wheel experience. Trustoo aims at merchants looking for an all-in-one solution for email marketing, automation, and broader popup marketing needs, even though their spin wheel feature may not have as much customization.

Our Verdict
For merchants primarily interested in adding a customizable spin wheel with precise control over its functionality, PopSpin ‑ Spin Wheel Popup might be the better choice. It offers a focused approach and real-time preview features which some merchants might find beneficial. However, the extremely low number of reviews is a risk. It's hard to determine the app's long term viability.
On the other hand, merchants looking for a more comprehensive solution for email marketing, automation, and broader popup strategies should strongly consider Trustoo Pop ups, Email Popups. Its feature set extends beyond just a spin wheel, offering tools for email campaigns, automation, and integration with other marketing apps, and benefits from a very substantial user base, suggesting greater reliability and support.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to use?
PopSpin is likely easier to use due to its focused feature set. Trustoo, while also claiming ease of use, has a broader range of functionalities that might require a steeper learning curve.
Which app is better for long-term email marketing?
Trustoo is significantly better for long-term email marketing. It offers campaign creation, automation, and segmentation features absent in PopSpin. PopSpin is really only for generating a lead.
Which app offers better value for money?
Value depends on the merchant's needs. If only a spin wheel is needed, PopSpin might appear cheaper initially. However, Trustoo's broader feature set provides more value if the merchant intends to use email marketing and automation.
Does either app integrate with other marketing tools?
Trustoo explicitly mentions integrations with Klaviyo, Mailchimp, SMSBump, and Privy. PopSpin does not specify integrations, focusing on subscriber management within the app itself.
Which app has better support?
Trustoo advertises 24/7 support via chat and email which suggests better customer service and quicker turnaround times on questions or issues compared to PopSpin.
Which app should I choose if I want to customize everything?
Trustoo offers customization of email templates and popup designs, whereas PopSpin offers customization of the spin wheel. If you want to customize everything on the entire marketing flow (the entire email list building and marketing campaign), choose Trustoo. If you just want to customize the spin wheel and nothing else, choose PopSpin.
