Our Verdict
If a merchant's primary concern is managing their retail staff effectively, tracking hours, and simplifying payroll, then Pos Clock in for Point of Sale is the clear choice. Its features are specifically designed to address these needs. However, if a merchant is grappling with a rapidly expanding product catalog, struggling to create unique SKUs, and needing to print retail barcode labels efficiently, SKUGen is the more suitable option. It offers a robust suite of tools for product organization and labeling. The choice boils down to whether the merchant's pain point is people management or product management.
Given SKUGen's higher review count, it may be a more established or versatile solution for SKU and barcode needs, but for businesses heavily reliant on Shopify POS and needing staff management tools, Pos Clock in for Point of Sale directly addresses that specific requirement. Ultimately, consider the scale of your business, the number of employees (for staff management), and the complexity of your inventory (for SKU and barcode management) when making the decision.
