POS2B: Native POS B2B Pricing vs Stockist Store Locatorfor Shopify (2026)
POS2B: Native POS B2B Pricing and Stockist Store Locator cater to vastly different needs within the Shopify ecosystem, although both can be categorized as "Selling in person." POS2B is a highly niche application designed exclusively for Shopify Plus merchants who operate in a B2B sales model and want to extend their online B2B catalogs to their physical Point of Sale system. Its strength lies in enabling B2B pricing in-store. However, its low rating and review count, along with limitations like treating orders as standard B2C and lacking support for volume pricing, present significant drawbacks. On the other hand, Stockist Store Locator is a broadly applicable app that helps merchants with physical locations improve discoverability and drive in-store traffic by providing a customizable and user-friendly store locator map for their website. Stockist Store Locator distinguishes itself through its comprehensive features focused on location management, customization, and analytics, making it a valuable tool for any merchant with brick-and-mortar locations or retailers. With a high rating and substantial review count, it reflects a positive user experience and proven effectiveness. POS2B is limited by its Plus requirement, limited feature set, and potential bugs (implied by the low rating), while Stockist appeals to a much wider audience seeking to connect online customers with physical stores and gain insights into local search behavior.

Our Verdict
For Shopify Plus merchants specifically engaged in B2B sales and needing to apply their B2B pricing in physical stores using POS, POS2B: Native POS B2B Pricing might be a relevant option, but merchants should thoroughly investigate its limitations regarding order types, volume pricing, and the potential instability suggested by the low rating. Given the alternative is a very different type of app, POS2B has no real direct competitor. However, it's fair to recommend a merchant explore other POS solutions that more seamlessly integrate B2B pricing with POS transactions.
Stockist Store Locator, on the other hand, is the clear choice for merchants seeking to improve the discoverability of their physical stores and drive foot traffic. Its high rating, extensive feature set, and positive user reviews make it a reliable solution for businesses of all sizes with brick-and-mortar locations. It addresses a common need for merchants with a physical presence, regardless of their specific product category or sales model.
