PostCo Returns & Exchanges vs Return Shieldfor Shopify (2026)
Both PostCo Returns & Exchanges and Return Shield aim to streamline the returns and exchanges process for Shopify merchants. However, PostCo appears to be the more established solution, evidenced by its significantly higher number of reviews (79) compared to Return Shield's 3, despite both maintaining a perfect 5/5 rating. This suggests PostCo has a larger user base and potentially more developed features to generate more reviews and feedback. Return Shield, being newer or less widely adopted, remains largely untested compared to PostCo. Therefore, while both promise effective returns management, their demonstrable track record varies significantly.

Our Verdict
For merchants seeking a returns solution with a proven track record and extensive user feedback, PostCo Returns & Exchanges appears to be the safer and more reliable choice. Its larger user base suggests it has undergone more rigorous testing and refinement. Return Shield, on the other hand, might appeal to merchants willing to take a chance on a newer app, potentially with unique features not readily apparent from the limited data. However, the lack of substantial reviews means there is inherently more risk associated with adoption. Therefore, unless Return Shield offers a clearly differentiated feature set, PostCo would be the recommended starting point.
