PostCo Returns & Exchanges vs Spring GDSfor Shopify (2026)
PostCo Returns & Exchanges and Spring GDS both operate in the 'Shipping' category on the Shopify App Store, but cater to different needs and present vastly different levels of validation. PostCo Returns & Exchanges, with a perfect 5/5 rating from 79 reviews, focuses primarily on simplifying and managing the returns and exchanges process for merchants. Spring GDS, on the other hand, aims to facilitate international e-commerce shipments and returns, leveraging its connection to PostNL for a global reach. The key differentiator lies in their scope. PostCo Returns & Exchanges appears to prioritize ease of use and efficiency in handling domestic returns and exchanges, likely within a specific geographic region. Spring GDS is positioning itself as an end-to-end solution for cross-border e-commerce, offering features like managing international carriers and generating shipping labels. However, a significant drawback for Spring GDS is the complete absence of reviews or ratings, indicating it's either very new or struggling to gain traction within the Shopify ecosystem. This makes its reliability difficult to assess.

Our Verdict
For merchants primarily focused on streamlining their returns and exchanges process within their domestic market and valuing validated solutions, PostCo Returns & Exchanges is the clear choice. The 5/5 rating and 79 positive reviews strongly suggest a reliable and user-friendly experience.
Spring GDS, while promising a comprehensive solution for international e-commerce, carries significant risk due to the complete lack of reviews. While its integration with PostNL and potential global reach is appealing, merchants should proceed with extreme caution and thoroughly test the app before committing to it, especially given the absence of user feedback to validate its functionality and reliability.
