Our Verdict
PostCo Returns & Exchanges, with its established user base (indicated by 79 reviews), is a safer choice for merchants primarily seeking to streamline and optimize their returns and exchanges process. The significantly larger review count offers some assurance of a tested and reliable system. Trustway: Package Protection is better suited for merchants concerned about package loss, theft, or damage during shipping and the associated customer service burden. Its value proposition is reducing customer service demands while potentially increasing AOV through offering package protection. However, the single review necessitates a careful evaluation and monitoring of its performance initially. Merchants experiencing significant shipping issues might find Trustway more immediately beneficial, but should thoroughly test it before wider deployment. Those with established return workflows and low shipping incidents may get limited value from Trustway.
Common Questions
Which app is better for reducing customer service workload?
Trustway: Package Protection explicitly aims to reduce customer service demands related to lost, stolen, or damaged packages by streamlining claims and offering protection.
Which app is better for increasing customer satisfaction related to returns?
While Trustway aims to increase customer satisfaction through package protection, PostCo Returns & Exchanges is likely the better option for directly improving customer satisfaction with the *returns* process itself.
Which app is the safer choice for an established business?
PostCo Returns & Exchanges, with significantly more reviews, presents a lower risk given its larger established user base and more testing in a wide variety of circumstances.
Can these apps be used together?
Potentially, yes. A merchant could use Trustway to protect packages in transit and PostCo to manage returns if customers ultimately want to return items even after receiving them safely.
Does Trustway offer a refund for the *app subscription* if package protection fails?
The description does not state this. It states refunds for the *product*, implying the customer is refunded not the merchant. This is a common package protection model.
