Postsell: Order Editing Upsell vs Simesy Order Editing & Upsellfor Shopify (2026)
Both Postsell: Order Editing Upsell and Simesy Order Editing & Upsell aim to empower Shopify merchants with order editing capabilities, but they approach the market from different starting points in 2026. Postsell boasts a perfect rating based on a small number of reviews, suggesting initial user satisfaction, while Simesy lacks any user reviews, making its real-world performance unknown. Simesy positions itself as a comprehensive self-service solution, prioritizing customer autonomy in managing their orders and reducing merchant support load through features like address editing, product swaps, cancellations, and automatic refunds. Postsell's focus appears to be primarily on order editing and upselling (implied by name), though details beyond the app name are unavailable from the data. Therefore, merchants seeking a proven solution might lean towards Postsell's positive early feedback, while those comfortable with adopting newer apps and prioritizing self-service order management may explore Simesy, accepting the risk due to its unproven status.

Our Verdict
For Shopify merchants prioritizing risk mitigation and seeking a solution with at least some positive user feedback, Postsell: Order Editing Upsell may be the preferable choice, assuming its core order editing functionality meets their basic needs. However, the information is too limited to judge beyond the name and rating. Merchants looking to drastically reduce customer support inquiries related to order changes and willing to take a chance on a potentially powerful, but unproven, app may find Simesy Order Editing & Upsell more appealing. Simesy's self-service features appear much more extensive, but the lack of reviews introduces significant uncertainty. Ultimately, the best choice depends on a merchant's risk tolerance, the scale of order editing support requests, and the specific functionalities required.
