Our Verdict
Given the information available in 2026, Trustoo Pop ups, Email Popups is the clear winner for merchants prioritizing email marketing, list growth, and automated campaigns. The significantly higher rating and substantial number of reviews indicate a much more positive user experience and a robust platform. POWR: Custom Form Builder Pro, despite its stated versatility, suffers from a very low rating and minimal reviews, raising concerns about its functionality and reliability. Merchants seeking a focused form builder might consider POWR if specific form features are crucial and alternatives are lacking, but they should proceed with extreme caution due to the low rating and minimal user feedback. In most scenarios, Trustoo is the safer and more beneficial choice.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up?
Trustoo Pop ups, Email Popups highlights 'easy setup, no coding' while POWR states 'setup in seconds, install in minutes'. Given the overwhelmingly positive user reviews for Trustoo, its 'easy setup' claim is more credible. The negative reviews for POWR might indicate a less straightforward setup process, contrary to its promise.
Which app is better for collecting customer information?
Both apps collect customer information, but they do it in different ways. POWR is designed to collect information through custom forms, while Trustoo collects it through popups and signup forms specifically for email marketing. If you need detailed, specific data that's not limited to email addresses, POWR's form builder might be preferable. For simply growing an email list, Trustoo is better suited.
Which app offers better value for money?
Value depends on the merchant's needs. If the merchant is primarily interested in email marketing, Trustoo will offer better value. If a merchant truly needs highly customizable forms that cannot be created through basic methods, then POWR might provide value, but this is only justified if the core POWR functionality works as intended, which the ratings suggest it might not.
Which app integrates better with other marketing platforms?
Trustoo explicitly mentions integration with Klaviyo, Mailchimp, SMSBump, and Privy. POWR claims integration with 'all your other favorite platforms,' but provides no specifics. Based on explicit mentions, Trustoo has more clearly defined integrations.
What are the key differences between the apps?
The key difference lies in their core function. POWR: Custom Form Builder Pro specializes in creating various types of custom forms, whereas Trustoo Pop ups, Email Popups focuses on email list growth, email marketing campaigns, and automation. While POWR aims to be a versatile tool for data collection, Trustoo is a more specific solution for growing and engaging an email list.
