PreOrder Globo | Back in Stock vs Stockie Low Stock Alertfor Shopify (2026)
PreOrder Globo | Back in Stock and Stockie Low Stock Alert both address stock management needs for Shopify merchants, but they target different aspects. PreOrder Globo is a comprehensive solution focusing on pre-orders, back-in-stock notifications, and coming-soon product launches. It provides features to manage pre-sales, including partial payments, automatic discounts, and custom delivery notes. Stockie Low Stock Alert, on the other hand, solely focuses on stock alerts. PreOrder Globo aims to help merchants recover lost sales, improve customer satisfaction through proactive communication, and manage product launches effectively. Its extensive features suggest a higher level of complexity but offer greater control over pre-order and back-in-stock processes. Stockie Low Stock Alert, given its specific focus, likely provides a simpler and more streamlined approach to only alert merchants when stock levels are low and requires less configuration.

Our Verdict
For merchants needing comprehensive pre-order and back-in-stock management, PreOrder Globo | Back in Stock is the clear choice. Its extensive features allow for greater control over pre-sales, product launches, and customer communication. The higher number of reviews also suggests a more established and widely used solution.
However, for merchants solely needing to monitor stock levels and receive alerts when they are low, Stockie Low Stock Alert might be a more suitable option, especially if simplicity and ease of use are priorities. It depends if you need the advanced options that PreOrder Globo offers. If you are not doing pre-orders, presales or managing backorders, then perhaps Stockie Low Stock Alert makes more sense.
