Our Verdict
StoreSEO: AI SEO Agent is the clear winner for most Shopify merchants in 2026 seeking to improve their online visibility and sales through SEO. Its high rating and numerous positive reviews suggest it delivers on its promises. Press Hook, on the other hand, might be suitable for brands and agencies with a specific need for earned PR and media relations, but the complete lack of reviews raises serious concerns about its functionality, support, and overall value.
For most Shopify merchants prioritizing organic traffic and sales growth, StoreSEO: AI SEO Agent is the recommended choice. Press Hook is only viable if your primary goal is media coverage and you're willing to take a significant risk on an unproven app.
Common Questions
Is Press Hook a good alternative to hiring a PR agency?
Potentially, Press Hook aims to provide PR tools and media connections. However, with no reviews available, it's impossible to determine its effectiveness compared to a professional PR agency. The lack of reviews creates a risk.
Can StoreSEO: AI SEO Agent replace a dedicated SEO expert?
StoreSEO can automate many SEO tasks, but it likely can't fully replace an expert. Its AI can help with keyword research, content optimization, and technical SEO, but a human expert is still needed for strategy and nuanced decision-making.
Which app is easier to use for a beginner?
Based on the descriptions, StoreSEO's focus on AI-powered optimization suggests a potentially easier learning curve compared to Press Hook, which might require more PR knowledge. However, without reviews, determining the true ease of use for either is impossible.
Do both apps offer customer support?
Press Hook's description doesn't mention customer support. StoreSEO explicitly mentions '24/7 expert SEO support', making it a safer choice for merchants requiring assistance.
Is StoreSEO: AI SEO Agent worth the investment?
With a 5/5 rating and 520 reviews, StoreSEO appears to be a worthwhile investment for Shopify merchants wanting to improve their SEO performance and drive traffic and sales.
