Our Verdict
The choice between Price Tapper POS and Rubik Variant Images & Swatch depends heavily on the merchant's specific needs and business model. Price Tapper POS is ideal for businesses needing a more flexible and streamlined approach to handling custom sales within their physical point-of-sale system. If you need to apply custom pricing or notes easily within your POS system, then Price Tapper POS is the recommended app. On the other hand, Rubik Variant Images & Swatch is the better option for online stores focusing on presenting product variations clearly and effectively to online customers, particularly those selling items with multiple colors, designs, or sizes.
Rubik Variant Images & Swatch's high review count suggests a more mature product with a broader user base. Given its primary function of enhanced variant display, merchants whose businesses heavily depend on online sales of variable products should favor Rubik Variant Images & Swatch. While Price Tapper POS could potentially scale, its lower review count in 2026 compared to the Rubik variant image app makes it a slightly riskier choice for very large deployments at scale unless you really need it's particular point-of-sale feature set.
