PriceMate – Make An Offer vs YouQuote: Request a Quote Formfor Shopify (2026)
PriceMate – Make An Offer and YouQuote: Request a Quote Form both aim to enhance pricing flexibility on Shopify stores, but they cater to slightly different approaches and business needs. PriceMate focuses on enabling customers to actively negotiate prices through a "Make an Offer" system. It emphasizes haggling, proposal management, and automated acceptance/rejection rules. This positions it as a dynamic pricing tool suitable for merchants willing to engage in a bargaining process with their customers. YouQuote: Request a Quote Form, conversely, centers around a more formal quote request system. It allows customers to submit requests, likely for customized products, bulk orders, or services requiring specific pricing considerations. While PriceMate highlights automated negotiation, YouQuote likely emphasizes the simplicity and structured process of collecting quote requests. The key differentiators are PriceMate's focus on haggling and automated responses versus YouQuote's focus on collecting structured quote requests. Based on customer reviews, YouQuote has a higher rating and significantly more reviews, suggesting broader user satisfaction or longer time in the market. However, the provided descriptions are not expansive enough to evaluate the complexity of the setup, so ease of use comparison is tentative.

Our Verdict
If you want to encourage active price negotiation and are comfortable with a back-and-forth bargaining process, PriceMate – Make An Offer is likely the better choice. Its automated offer acceptance/rejection feature can save you time. This is best suited for businesses that sell items that are often sold via negotiation, like art, antiques, or customizable products where price is flexible.
However, if you need a straightforward way for customers to request quotes for custom orders, bulk purchases, or services where specific pricing is determined on a case-by-case basis, YouQuote: Request a Quote Form is probably a better fit. The higher rating and number of reviews suggest a more reliable and user-friendly experience.
Common Questions
Which app is better for increasing sales volume?
Both apps can potentially increase sales volume, but through different mechanisms. PriceMate might drive sales through haggling and perceived discounts. YouQuote can increase sales by streamlining the process of quoting custom orders, leading to more conversions on those types of requests.
Which app is easier to manage on a day-to-day basis?
YouQuote is likely easier to manage daily if it focuses on a simple quote submission process and manual review. PriceMate's automated features require upfront configuration of acceptance/rejection rules, which adds initial setup time but could save time later.
Does PriceMate – Make An Offer integrate with CRM systems for tracking offers?
The app description does not explicitly state CRM integration. Merchants should check the app documentation or contact the developer to confirm if CRM integration is supported.
Can YouQuote: Request a Quote Form be used for subscription-based products?
While possible, YouQuote is primarily designed for custom pricing or bulk order requests. Subscription-based products typically have fixed pricing, so it may not be the best fit unless there's a need for custom subscription options.
Which app supports more languages and currencies?
PriceMate explicitly mentions multi-language and multi-currency support. The description of YouQuote does not include this information. Therefore, PriceMate is the better choice if your store operates internationally.
