Our Verdict
Based on the data, Recurpay is the stronger choice for merchants aiming to implement and manage subscription services. Its high rating, large number of reviews, and dedicated customer support suggest a reliable and effective app. Prime Review, with its low rating and limited reviews, is a riskier option, despite its appealing feature set for enhancing product page social proof.
For merchants solely focused on adding product reviews, favorites, and Q&A, Prime Review might seem tempting due to its 'one-click' installation claim. However, the user feedback (or lack thereof, given the low review count) suggests potential issues. Unless the merchant is particularly budget-constrained and willing to troubleshoot potential problems, exploring alternative review apps with better reputations is recommended over Prime Review. A merchant looking to offer subscriptions should, with the available data, select Recurpay.
