Printegy: Print‑on‑Demand vs QBSourcingfor Shopify (2026)
Printegy: Print‑on-Demand and QBSourcing are both Shopify apps in the "Shipping solutions - Other" category, but they cater to vastly different merchant needs. Printegy focuses on print-on-demand dropshipping with a strong emphasis on branding and fast, potentially same-day, order processing. This positions it as a user-friendly option for merchants who want to offer custom-designed products without managing inventory or fulfillment. QBSourcing, on the other hand, positions itself as a China-based sourcing and dropshipping agent, emphasizing wide product selection, steady supply chains, and competitive pricing through Chinese manufacturing. The key difference lies in their core offerings. Printegy emphasizes control over product design and branding through its print-on-demand model, alongside speed and a focus on the customer experience through white-label branding. QBSourcing focuses on leveraging China's manufacturing capabilities for a diverse product catalog, prioritizing low prices and a consistent supply chain. Merchant experience, inferred from ratings and reviews, heavily favors Printegy, though the limited review count for both apps suggests caution in making definitive conclusions. The choice between them boils down to whether the merchant prioritizes design control and branding, or low-cost sourcing and a wide product range.

Our Verdict
For merchants primarily focused on creating and selling custom-designed products with a focus on branding and fast delivery, Printegy: Print‑on-Demand appears to be the better choice, especially given its significantly higher rating and more extensive review history. However, the limited number of reviews for both warrants further investigation into recent user experiences before making a final decision.
On the other hand, if a merchant's priority is sourcing a wide variety of products at the lowest possible cost and is comfortable with potentially longer shipping times from China, QBSourcing might be considered, but with caution. The significantly lower rating and single review highlight potential risks and suggest thorough due diligence is necessary. Consider exploring other sourcing options before fully committing to QBSourcing.
Common Questions
Which app is better for branding?
Printegy offers white-label branding, allowing merchants to customize the packaging and product itself with their brand. QBSourcing provides branded packages, focusing more on the packaging aspect of branding.
Which app offers faster shipping?
Printegy mentions same-day processing, implying faster shipping times compared to QBSourcing, which is based in China and likely involves longer international shipping durations.
Which app is better for merchants with limited capital?
Both apps offer dropshipping, meaning no upfront inventory investment is required. However, QBSourcing's emphasis on low prices might be initially more attractive to capital-constrained merchants, but this should be balanced against the higher risks suggested by the low rating.
Which app is riskier?
Based on the provided data, QBSourcing appears riskier due to its significantly lower rating and fewer reviews. This suggests potential issues with service quality, communication, or fulfillment.
Which app provides more control over product quality?
Printegy provides more control over product quality, as you control the designs going to print. With QBSourcing, there may be a language barrier and less control over the factory's manufacturing process.
