Printegy: Print‑on‑Demand vs wCRM ‑ Transactional Notifierfor Shopify (2026)
Printegy: Print‑on-Demand and wCRM ‑ Transactional Notifier are both Shopify apps with a 5/5 rating, but they cater to vastly different needs. Printegy focuses on providing a complete print-on-demand dropshipping solution. Its strengths lie in handling inventory, fulfillment, and even offering white-label branding, allowing merchants to focus on design and marketing. wCRM, on the other hand, addresses customer communication by automating WhatsApp notifications for order events. Its value proposition is improved customer satisfaction through real-time updates and reduced manual effort for merchants. The crucial distinction is in their core functionality. Printegy is for merchants selling physical products via print-on-demand, while wCRM is for any merchant seeking to enhance customer communication through automated WhatsApp messages, irrespective of the products they sell or their fulfillment method. They both indirectly touch 'order tracking' through fulfillment and notification capabilities, but their primary focuses are different stages of the eCommerce process.

Our Verdict
For merchants looking for a hands-off solution to selling custom-designed physical products, Printegy: Print‑on-Demand is the clear choice. It handles the complexities of inventory, printing, and shipping, allowing them to focus on design and marketing. The relatively high number of reviews compared to wCRM further supports this. However, for merchants seeking to proactively communicate order updates and improve customer satisfaction through WhatsApp notifications, regardless of their fulfillment method or product type, wCRM ‑ Transactional Notifier is the more suitable option. While it has significantly fewer reviews, its functionality is specifically tailored to that niche.
